FIRE Safety Equipment
13.—(1) a: the responsible person must ensure that the premises are, to the extent that it is appropriate, equipped with appropriate fire-fighting equipment.
Article 13, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Fire safety law makes it a requirement for premises to be suitably equipped with fire extinguishers.
Jaymac evaluates our clients' needs based upon the findings of a fire risk assessment or by carrying out a free site survey that identifies your requirements in order to conform with the standards set out with BS5306.
Once we have identified your needs, we will provide a no-obligation quotation with a clear breakdown of costs and one fixed price.
Once you have approved our quotation our customer support team will contact you to arrange a suitable date to deliver and commission the equipment.
In order to conform to British Standard BS5306, it is a requirement for all new extinguishers to be commissioned by a qualified competent person. This is generally carried out as part of the installation process and involves inspecting and certifying the item.
We do provide a mail order service, but can not provide commissioning certifications with these items as commissioning must be carried out at the extinguishers siting for us to comply with BS5306.
